The song used in the video above is “Anything but Strong” by Eurythmics and the ending lyrics of the song denotes the sincere message I wish to convey to those who are feeling down “hold on to the good things that keep you from falling down”. I first heard this song many years ago in Les Mill’s Body Balance release 36 where part of the song was used in its graceful tai chi and breathing movement.
Lavendar, in its essence and colour represents calm and healing. In life, we would invariably get hurt or wish to give up….. and when pain overwhelms us, we often forget the goodness and blessings in our lives. I myself have gone through many painful experiences in my life including betrayal, heartbreak, grief, failure and sadness. I understand that at times, it felt like there is no where out, and that the pain would not go away.
But trust me, it would….. we just gotta give it time. Meanwhile, we need to learn to crawl out from the abyss that we are in…… so long as we are willing, we would find a way out and in the process become stronger and more resillient.
The stickers make beautiful decorations on planners and calendars. I’ve used a few of these stickers to decorate my mini drawers and planners.
However, I’ve kept most of them in my DIY sticker book because they looked wonderful when they are in a collection.
Lavendar provides a calming effect….. from the colour to appearance. It can be dried and kept for a long time.
